The snow is only outside so please stop at the Spinning Room in Altamont and look for our ever changing spring cotton yarns in a wonderful array of colors.  In the top shelf is Ultra Pima fine by Cascade, 100% cotton, and the other two shelves are Anchor Bay by Cascade, 50% merino wool and 50% cotton (it feels so soft). Why not come in and touch for yourself.

Sue Zinsky wearing her newly made necklace from Lisa's class. It is so pretty.

Here are Jan and Anita showing off their beautiful scarves.  Anita made the no-purl-ribbed-scarf and Jan the leaf-lace-scarf.  Nice work ladies.

Cecile just finished her Decemberist shawl from our February KAL.  She made the larger version.  It is beautiful...nice job Ceil.

We also got these finished Thrummed Mittens and Pentucket Cowl and Hat from our classes, but it didn't say who made them. So if you did these great items please tell us so we can give you credit!

Tuesday was Mardi Gras, rumor has it there was a wild party going on at the Spinning Room. This picture of the King Cake was taken before the party started.  As we all know, what happens at the Spinning Room .......

Lynn finished her challenging Panem Katniss Cowl Wrap designed by Dahlia in Bloom and inspired by the Hunger Games. She asked Cecile to model it. It is quite stunning.

Here is Florence Foster. She just finished the rectangle hat after taking Iryth’s Intro to Double Knitting class. She used Elysian yarn for her project. Nice job Florence.

When March came in, Kathy was up to her elbows in worsted and chunky yarn from Lamb's Pride in many yummy colors.

Here are some of the beautiful Lamb's Pride colors on the front counter.

Spring has come early to the Spinning Room, new spring cottons and cotton blends in a wide range of colors are here special for you. So, finish up whatever is on your needles and plan a great spring project with these new yarns.  If you need suggestions, just ask any of the ladies at the shop to help you locate a pattern you will enjoy.
