On a blue streak

My current knitting...

Brigid Jacket for the Knit-a-Long, made with Cascade 220 Heathers:

Cedar Leaf Shawlette, made with Malabrigo Worsted:

Mmmmmmmm.... Malabrigo. love. Love. LOVE this yarn! and what a great pattern (from Never Not Knitting)! Finished the main body and now I'm halfway through adding the border.... working with the circular and one DPN, picking up one stitch every other row from the circular. Never did that before, but it's surprisingly easy! I'm making this for an upcoming class (April 15 & 29).

BFF socks, made with Periwinkle Sheep Watercolors Sock Yarn in "Craving":

Ok, so this is actually a deep purple, but it looked blue in the picture, so I included it!

Also, finished my Volna! Need to block it by pinning out all the points:

At first I was horrified at that thought (can you SEE all the points???), but then I remembered blocking wires......

....and here is where I would put the picture of the scarf with the blocking wires in it.... IF I COULD GET OUT OF MY STREET to get them from the shop!!!!! The snow. Pullleeeeeeze stop it!

This picture doesn't do justice to what's been going on this morning. (It looks like it will clear this afternoon and I really hope that this is the last of the snow. I think I'm being optimistic, though.)

Since the shop camera is also at the shop, no customer show and tell this post. That, and pics of my blocking Volna will be in the next one (and hopefully my blocking Cedar Leaf Shawlette!)

I feel your pain Liz. 16 inches and no power for 12 hours! It's at least pretty now. Deirdre
